2026 | History Moment with Jensen Auto Service

“Jensen Auto Service opened our shop doors on April 1, 1993, and over the past 33 years we’ve served a lot of great customers in the Marshall, Day, and Brown County region.

To-date Daren & Paula Jensen are the longest running owners of this business location in Langford. Today, Daren and their two sons, Tyler and Trey, operate the day-to-day operations. The business was purchased from Keith & Melody Swearingen after Daren had been employed by them for about six years. The Swearingen family (Clarence, Thelma, Keith, & Melody) had owned the station from 1979 to 1993. Paula’s grandpa, Elmer Holland, operated this same business as a Standard Oil bulk truck and service station from 1946 – 1976. Elmer bought the business from his father, Mandius Holland.
