2022 | Town Pet Clinic Day

Town of Langford

Pet Day – August 4, 2022

The Britton Vet Clinic will be in Langford on Thursday, August 4th, from 1:00pm – 3:00pm at the Fire Hall. The Town of Langford requires that dogs and cats be licensed at the Finance Office, per Ordinance 93.17.

The cost is $5.00 per license and documentation of rabies vaccination is required for licensing purposes. If your pet(s) need rabies vaccination(s), it may be done at the pet clinic and payment is due at the time of service – payable to the Britton Vet Clinic.

If you have had your pet(s) vaccinated elsewhere, provide documentation to the Finance Officer.

The Town of Langford will be selling new licenses at the pet clinic – they will be valid through August 31, 2024.

Pets must be licensed by Thursday, September 1, 2022.
After September 5, 2022, a fine for failure to license is $25.00 per pet per month.

2022 | Town Clean-Up Days

May 16th – 20th
are the Town-Wide Clean Up Days!

Residents may place unwanted items at the curb. The Town will collect the items for disposal.

Items NOT Accepted:
Tires or Batteries
Used or Waste Oil
Concrete or Construction Debris
Hazardous Materials

CURBSIDE PICK UP ONLY

The Town will NOT accept refrigerators, air conditioners or freezers unless the freon has been removed and tagged.

2022 | Golf Cart Permits Available

Golf cart decals for the 2022 season are now available at the Langford City Finance Office. The City of Langford allows golf carts on municipal streets, subject to the following terms: the golf cart must be insured; the individual operating the golf cart must hold a valid driver’s license; a permit must be obtained through
City Finance Office (cost of permit is $2.50) and must be displayed on the rear fender or bumper; operation of the golf cart that is not equipped with head-lights and tail-lights is permitted only from dawn to dusk.

2022 | Sump Pump Discharge

Please ensure that sump pumps are being drained outside homes and businesses, pursuant to City Ordinance. All users of the municipal sewer system are prohibited from discharging water from sump pumps or drain tile systems into the municipal sewer system between the dates of April 1st and October 31st.
